We welcome clients from other provinces, and around
the world! They love both our extensive groomed-trail network,
and virgin snow snowmobiling areas.
Once you have arrived at Deer Lake Airport, the
adventure begins - Carla, Nelson, or one of our professional
snowmobile guides will pick you up and whisk you down to the
bed and breakfast,
where you may dine upon a traditional seafood platter, or some
other local Newfoundland fare. If suit and helmet are required,
get sized up and prepared for fun the next day!
After a hearty breakfast the next morning, review operational
procedures of your snowmobile, along with trail safety with
your expert guide/s, and then embark upon a leisurely 70 kilometer
tour to the Lewis Hills. Return to Adams House, and enjoy the
spa/hot-tub under the stars. Retire around the fire and discuss
the day's adventures over cocktails.
On Day 3, experience the breathtaking beauty of Gros Morne National
Park. Enjoy a "Newfie mug-up" along the snowmobile
trail, while basking in some of Newfoundland's most spectacular
winter scenery. Bunk down in one of many lodges in the area
after perhaps enjoying a hearty moose stew and dumplings.
After taking a few rolls of film of more caribou, fox, moose,
and Arctic Hare in Gros Morne Park on Day 4, return to Adams
House and retire after enjoying another specialty of Carla's,
over candlelight.
Skiing anyone? On the last day, take a 6-minute drive to Marble
Mountain. Experience 1600 feet of vertical drop on Eastern Canada's
best slopes, or for something a little different, why not try
a full-day dog-sledding excursion? Relish one of Newfoundland's
favorite meals, Jigg's Dinner, at Adams House Bed and Breakfast
that evening. Allow the Adams to pamper you one final night
prior to your return to reality the next day.
